WIP amnesty week: Day 6

I found a subfolder in Googledocs with some more WIPs that I abandoned! AWESOME. Also, this is the only Star Trek story you will ever see from me.

WIP: Star Trek XI, Kirk and Spock.

I want to say something clever in the cut text. )
swordage: Riku from Kingdom Hearts gesticulating. (x riku)

KH ficbits

[livejournal.com profile] lazulisong wrote a delicious ficbit of an AU that caught my brain and started pelting me with ideas, none of which were particularly substantial enough to make a decent story. So. Random KH ficbit that may or may not be spoilers for KH2. I can seriously see this idea as being KH3. (Also, one of the drabbles deals directly with the Drive system and the forms thereof, so there are, uh, Drive spoilers?) Also also, I am making super-sure to try to not use spoilery icons in posts. It is difficult, because almost all my icons are spoilery for hair and stuff. And hair is important. ;_; Emo tear.

Possible spoilers for KH2! Which is totally unfair, because Lazuli inspired this and hasn't played the game yet. )
swordage: Vincent Valentine. Gloomy. As always. (x vincent van kickurass)

FF7 ficbit

Not really a drabble or a fic, this really isn't long enough for me to come up with a title. With all the nummy fics about Vincent's alter forms going around, and all the interesting takes on the repercussions of his first transformation with the posse, I thought I'd toss in my two cents. So. Vincent and Cid, and things unsaid.

Cid's approach to most problems, Vincent had observed, was to swear. )

FMA "Changed For Good" ficlet

Title: Sleep, Child, Sleep
Series: Fullmetal Alchemist
Rating: PG
For [livejournal.com profile] miss_arel, whose story Changed For Good has long inspired me to take chances with ideas that I know are awesome. Yes, this is fanfic for a fanfic.

At first it was the homunculi that kept him awake... )

After a long absence, fic! And not just any fic! 'Tis a much-belated gift for [livejournal.com profile] pinstripesuit, to go with her art of Greed and Envy in period dress, posed for a formal photograph. I did way too much research for this fic, and then I uh... never really finished it. And it was gonna go on FOREVER because Envy never shuts up, so I cut him short. Just so you know. Uh, please be aware of really stilted writing that is a vague attempt at period speech patterns and word use.

Any kind of beta is appreciated; this particular fic is prone to change at any moment, because I lost the flow halfway through.

Title: Daguerrotype
Series: Fullmetal Alchemist
Rating: PG
Notes: For [livejournal.com profile] pinstripesuit, with love.

Man, it feels weird to post again. )
swordage: Kimberly from Fullmental Alchemist, "twisted". (x prison)

FMA drabble

I've been lax in my fic-writing duties lately. Hey, it happens, right? ^^; If I get some heavy-duty inspiration, I'll let you lot know. But for now, you get drabbles.

Today's drabble: Kimbley, behind bars.

Somewhere to call home. )
swordage: Kimberly from Fullmental Alchemist, "mad bomber". (x devilsnest)

FMA fic

For [livejournal.com profile] pinstripesuit. I figured you could use some comfort-fic, even if it's written when I'm tired and losing track of my sentences while I write them.

Title: Easy Dreaming
Series: FMA
Rating: PG
Ramifications: Devil's Nest crew, so spoilers for them.
Summary: It's hard to wake an alchemist that can blow things up in his sleep.

Prince Charming? )
swordage: Envy from Fullmetal Alchemist (x envy)

FMA fic

I finally wrote Envy fic! This pleases me, as it's hard to find much of anything to write about Envy.

Title: Renaissance Man
Series: FMA
Rating: PG
Ramifications: Ep. 51 spoilers, blah blah, not historically accurate. Human!Envy ahoy! I am told this is remarkably AU. Ehe.
Summary: Um... who needs summaries when you have naked Envy?! *tosses confetti*

It started as slumming. )
swordage: Kitty cat! (x cat)

FMA fic

It is a somewhat well-known fact that catnip makes me slightly high. I was sniffing it at regular intervals while writing this. Let that be both excuse and explanation.

Title: Catnip
Series: FMA
Rating: PG
Summary: Cat-chimeras and catnip and jingly balls, oh my! It tried to angst, but I beat it into submission. Yeah, I have no real summary for this one. It's just to tide me over until my gift for [livejournal.com profile] miss_arel gets done.

Yeah, right behind that ear, scratch a little harder... )

1. Catnip
2. Feline
3. Coin's Mettle
swordage: Riku from Kingdom Hearts in front of a huge hallway. (x kh)

FMA/KH fic

I really have no excuse for this. Um. It might become a series, because I want to write Sora as well. >_> Bad brain! Down!

Also, I'd like to note that I hate reading present-tense, but for some reason I always write in it. I apologize.

Title: Coconut Bones
Series: FMA/KH
Rating: PG
Ramifications: Because [livejournal.com profile] laylah_r wrote this, and my brain twitched delightedly. Also, the design for Ed's leg in this is now embedded in my brain.
Summary: Ed's trying to find his way home, and he gets a friend for his troubles.

Yay crossovers! )
swordage: Kimberly from Fullmental Alchemist, "mad bomber". (x devilsnest)

Alright, finally. I'm getting good at writing this crazy stuff. (And, for once, there is no love for Kimbley. This amuses me.)

Title: Cars
Series: FMA
Rating: PG for language
Ramifications: For [livejournal.com profile] pinstripesuit. I figured some humor was in order, and I hope this fits the bill. (Also, one of my ancestors really had an invention called potable gold, and it was advertised as a cure-all. It was rather a hit with the regular folk, I’m told, but respected doctors called him a crock and shut him down. It was gold leaf dissolved in something, I think; it's got all kinds of alchemical connotations, what with gold being perfection and all.)
Summary: Greed hasn't been around for the last hundred years of inventions, after all.
ETA: Fanart by [livejournal.com profile] pinstripesuit: Cars

Good lord, my sides! )
