Oh goodness I know. Sometimes I do want silly sweetness with no reasoning, but man, I want at least SOME reasoning sometimes. It would take a long, long time, and no outside influences, for them to be okay again. Starscream is used to reacting to everything - everything is a threat - and to soothe that enough to know how to trust again... I think it's possible, but yeah, looooooong time.
Ahaha yeah well, I meant - the whole basis is illogical to begin with. There's no real reason for the war, it just IS. And their tactics make no sense. But if the arc of the story made just a weeeeeee bit more sense... yeah. XD Wishful thinking.
I want this AU so muuuuuch D: I think Starscream would have to be in a bad way for Skyfire to step in, and for Starscream to not instantly go back to what he's familiar with - but during his recuperation, he'd start to doubt whether he really does want to go back, and he'll give in to Skyfire and stay for as long as it takes to decide - and he'll never admit that he DOES decide, because he's too jaded. He needs to be able to have that as leverage, as a threat he can use against Skyfire. And he's too proud to admit that he doesn't really want to go back to that anymore. He's too gunshy to admit he's happy. AHHHHHHHH I LOVE THEM.
