It's really stupid, but while I have made a compass, on our server we use the nether as a quick route between our respective "kingdoms", and I tend to get lost in the nether. I have since then made a VERY DISTINCT and LIT path from my portal to the others, but it was VERY frustrating.
Also there was an incident where the server glitched superhard when I was respawning, and I had to hard reboot the server, and next time I logged in, I was spawning at the generic spawn. Without anything on me. SO FRUSTRATING.
I need to figure out how to make the rails work; I've got the hang of red stone, finally.
