Which is why it's so interesting when Hughes isn't around. I want Roy and Ed to be friends like that, but it's so darn hard to get them to plausibly like each other (Well, to get Ed to like Roy, at least). Which is how Military Man came about, actually; it's an excuse to get them to be friends. All I managed was angst. XD
