Oh my gosh you are crazy awesome. You play guitar! And take amazing pictures! And you totally know way more about the interactions between former British colonies than I do! And you aren't afraid to talk about your insights into anti-isms! I have totally wanted to do all of these things and I am mad jealous that you're so awesome. You are so with it - I amazed at how in-control you are. (Also I totally get the old books thing - I grabbed an ancient book of French poetry for 1$US the other day. I don't know any French.)

Don't put yourself down! Just going for it is what's so awesome, you know? I used to commune with my cello, and tuning the G string provides some of the happiest memories of my life. What matters is your enjoyment, not your skill level. ♥

I am loving how I'm getting to know people better through this. One of the first things that struck me about you is your incredible thoughtfulness. You post about issues that make me want to hide in my closet and never come out - and you deal with them head-on, with poise and an open mind. It's like - like you look at life and see what it is and accept it for that, love it for that, but also urge it to be better. You're like a real-life Captain Pike. You know, if life were movie-version Kirk. Have you seen the new Star Trek movie? My simile is really awful but yeah. You are amazing. Your strength and grace astound me.
